9. Self-Service Product and Technical Support
Excel Bookkeeping is a self-service digital product.
The purchase price does not include personalized onboarding, individual technical troubleshooting, workbook customization, bookkeeping services, or one-on-one training.
Customers are encouraged to use available educational resources, online tutorials, Microsoft Excel documentation, and independent troubleshooting tools.
Customers may also choose to use third-party artificial intelligence tools for general assistance. Such tools are independent of Excel Bookkeeping, and customers should consider the privacy implications before uploading financial information.
Excel Bookkeeping does not guarantee individual technical support, troubleshooting responses, or ongoing customer assistance.
Nothing in this section excludes remedies or obligations required by applicable law.
10. Product Testing and Performance
Our workbook has undergone extensive internal testing. Its financial statement formulas are designed to read up to 100,000 transactions. We recommend not exceeding that amount, as larger workbooks may calculate more slowly depending on the customer's computer.
Testing does not constitute a guarantee that the workbook is error-free or suitable for every business or accounting situation.
Results depend on the information entered, software environment, workbook configuration, and customer actions.
11. Updates and Future Versions
Purchases include the version of the workbook delivered at the time of sale.
Future updates, additional features, compatibility upgrades, and new versions are not guaranteed or automatically included.
We may provide corrections or updated versions at our discretion, subject to applicable legal obligations.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our products are provided "as is" and "as available," without additional express or implied warranties.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted functionality, error-free calculations, compatibility with every environment, or particular financial, accounting, or tax results.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Excel Bookkeeping will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the workbook, including lost profits, business interruption, lost data, or inaccurate financial reporting.
Where legally permissible, our aggregate liability relating to a particular purchase will not exceed the amount actually paid for that product.
These limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
14. Refunds
Because our products are downloadable digital goods, purchases are generally final and nonrefundable.
Refunds, replacements, or other remedies will be provided where required by applicable law.
Please review our Refund Policy for additional information.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by California law, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Where legally permissible, disputes shall be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Orange County, California.
This provision does not remove mandatory consumer rights available under applicable laws.

Nothing in these Terms restricts lawful payment dispute or chargeback rights.
